WOONSOCKET - Myron P. Kiczak, 94, resident of Woonsocket, died July 23, 2013 at the Landmark Medical Center.
He was the husband of the late Aurore (Berube) Kiczak.
He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Paul & Paranka (Sztokaylo) Kiczak.
He worked for the former Almacs Supermarket in Woonsocket, for thirty five years in the produce department. He also he worked in photography and filming for the Woonsocket Call and Channel 6 news in Providence. He was a WWII army veteran. He enjoyed going to local rod & gun clubs, he was a member of the Fairmount Manor Club, and the Fairmount Post.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Pearl Greco, Alfred Staples, Pamela Lahousse, and Scott Staples. He is also survived, by six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pearl Staples, and a brother, Thomas Kiczak.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Holy Family Church, South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery in Blackstone, MA. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6 until 8pm.
