WOONSOCKET - Leonie Doire 80, of Hartford Ave. died Friday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late Laurent Noel Doire. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Aurore (Landry) Dufour. Loenie was a stitcher for the former Narragansett Knitting Co. for many years, she also worked for the Amperex Corporation retiring in 1979. Leonie was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by two sons Daniel Doire and Alphonse Doire both of Woonsocket, three daughters, Paulette Gaulin of MD, Carol Ann Seamone of Medway, MA and Joyce Lavallee of Springroad, PA, a brother Robert Dufour of Portland, OR, eleven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Lucille Lebeu.
