NORTH FORT MYERS FLORIDA- Aurore Patrie, 93, lifelong resident of the Woonsocket area passed away in Florida on August 3rd.
She was the daughter of Omer and Clarinda (Richard) Laramee.
Pre-deceased by brothers Omer, Henri, Arsene, Joseph, Marcel and Lucien Laramee, sisters Angelina Cartier, Eva Blondin, Anita Glaude and Georgette Berard. She is survived by a son, Sylvio Patrick Glaude and daughter (whom she lived with in Florida) Therese B. Hughes.
She was married to Sylvio O. Glaude who died of his wounds in World War II and is buried in a Military Cemetery in Belgium. She was also married to Omer J. Patrie who passed in 1985.
She had four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and blessed with a great-great grandchild.
She worked in numerous area woolen mills and retired as an office clerk from the Foxboro Company. She lived at Parkview Manor for some 23 years prior to moving to Florida. She was a communicant at St Charles Church.
Funeral arrangements are private.
