NORTH SMITHFIELD- Kenneth E. Callei, 69, of Woonsocket Hill Rd. died Sunday August 25, 2013 at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Katherine (Christman) Callei.
Born in Providence, son of the late Louis and Nital (Levy) Callei.
Mr. Callei worked for Induplate in North Providence for 39 years, prior to retiring.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and camping and his motorcycle.
Besides his wife Katherine he is survived by one son Kenneth E. Callei Jr. and his significant other Danielle Ducharme, of North Smithfield, and three stepchildren, Katherine and her husband Robert Foss of Idaho, Robin Joanis of Woonsocket, and Robert Giguere, of Ohio. One sister, Esther Jordan of North Carolina, and one brother Roger Callei of Woonsocket. Five step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
He also was the brother of the late Gerald and Louis Callei.
His funeral will be held on Friday August 30, 2013 at 9 A.M. from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery Manville, R.I. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Thursday from 5-8 P.M.
