WOONSOCKET- Tellier, Donna, M., (Luciano), 66, formerly of Woonsocket, died unexpectedly on August 31, 2013 at the Landmark Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of William R. Tellier.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Victor J. and Hilda (Arruda) Luciano Sr., she lived in Woonsocket for many years.
Mrs. Tellier was a clerk in the nursing staffing and payroll department at Rhode Island Hospital for 32 years before retiring in 2008. Donna enjoyed reading, music, cooking and gardening. Her greatest love was spending time with her family.
Besides her husband of 44 years, she is survived by two daughters; Amy Tellier-Briggs of Ellsworth, ME and Rachel Fernandez and her husband John of Burrillville, two sons; Nathan Tellier and Adam Tellier, both of Woonsocket, two sisters; Christine Luciano and Katherine Borges, both of Riverside and five grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Victor Luciano Jr., sister-in-law of the late Richard D. Borges and aunt of the late Karl A. Luciano.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday September 7, 2013 in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 9 am. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Donna's memory to the Burrillville High School Softball/Field Hockey Programs, c/o John Abbate, 425 East Avenue, Harrisville, RI, 02830 would be deeply appreciated.
