NORTH SMITHFIELD- Michaud, Edward R. "Ted", 65, of Slatersville, passed away September 4, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence.
He was the loving husband of 41 years to Simonne R. (Martin) Michaud.
He was born in Pawtucket, son of the late Edward & Eleanor (Berthiaume) Michaud.
Ted worked for RI School for the Deaf as a bus driver and previously was a truck driver for several area companies. He was a resident of Slatersville, previously living in Providence. He enjoyed playing golf, and loved to spend time with his wife.
Besides his wife, Ted is survived by a brother Richard Michaud and his wife Jean of Coventry, a sister, Annemarie Corsair and her husband Raymond of Providence, his sisters' in law, Leda Michaud and Suzanne Martin, a niece, Rebecca Lynn Corsair and her fiancé James Razumny, and his nephews, Adam Michael Corsair and his fiancé Cindy Maynard, and Kyle Raymond Corsair.
Ted was preceded in death by his brother, Robert W. Michaud.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11am in St. Johns Church, Slatersville, RI. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI or to the American Lung Association, 260 West Exchange St., Suite 102B, Providence, RI 02903. Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield.
