TUCSON, AZ-- Daniel Poirier, 91, passed away Thursday September 5, 2013 in Tucson, AZ.
He was born in Woonsocket and a former resident of Blackstone. He worked for Milot Bros., Grossmans and Goodhues before relocating to Tucson.
Daniel is survived by his wife Mary Linda, sons Daniel Jr. of Conway, SC, Michael of Blackstone, David of Uxbridge, Philip of Woonsocket, Joseph of Carlsbad, CA, daughter Danielle Lawrence of Becket, 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
He served in the Marine Corp during WW II and saw action in the Pacific.
He was a member of the 1st Marine Division Assoc., The Guadalcanal Campaign Veterans and The Millerville Mens Club.
He will be greatly missed. No services are pending.
