BREAKING: TWO SHOT IN WOONSOCKET

Woonsocket Police Officer Patrick Roy stands guard at West Park Place Thursday morning while police investigate a home invasion and double shooting down the street at 65 West Park Place.

WOONSOCKET -- Police confirmed early Thursday morning that at least two people were shot during what appears to be a home invasion on West Park Place in the city. The incident occurred at about 2 a.m. Thursday morning. The two victims were transported to the hospital. The extend of their injuries are unknown.
