John R. Robinson

BLACKSTONE- John R. Robinson, Sr., 85, of Chestnut St., died September 16, 2013 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of the late Helen (McMann) Robinson and companion of the late Lenora "Lolly" Pierannunzi for thirty-nine years.
Born in Blackstone, MA, he was the son of the late Roland and Anna (Bradley) Robinson.
A WWII Army Veteran, Mr. Robinson worked as a Truck Driver for Rosenfeld Concrete, Milford, MA for twenty-eight years. He was a member of the Woonsocket Elks and was an antique car enthusiast.
He is survived by his five children, Jack Robinson, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Blackstone, MA, Jim Robinson and his wife Cathy of Millville, MA, Jane Robinson of Kodiak, AK, Joe Robinson of Millville, MA and Jeff Robinson of Yampa, CO, a brother, Frank Robinson of Brimfield, MA, a sister, Mary Patrick of Bellingham, MA, eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Charles and Kenneth Robinson and Eleanor Hinman.
Private funeral arrangements were held under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blackstone Firefighters Association, 15 St. Paul St., Blackstone, MA 01504.
