BURRILLVILLE- William P. Marcoux, 79 formerly of Bellingham, Ma. died Wednesday September 18, 2013 in Zamborano Hospital. He was the husband of the late Elaine (Hudon) Marcoux.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Lorenzo and Pauline (Arcand) Marcoux.
Mr. Marcoux worked at The Wrentham State School for 30 years, and also as a master pipe fitter, for Dennison Corp. for several years prior to retiring. He also served as Lt. on the Bellingham Rescue for several years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family especially the grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
He is survived by six children, Michael Marcoux of Woonsocket, Peter and his wife Mary Marcoux of Woonsocket, Stephen and his wife Roseann Marcoux, of Florida, John Marcoux, of Woonsocket, Thomas and his wife Jamie Marcoux of North Smithfield, Paula and her husband Steven Houle, of Cumberland, R.I. One brother Lionel Marcoux of Bellingham. Mass., four sisters, Theresa Thibault, of Bellingham, Sr. Pauline Macoux SJA of Quebec, Canada, Carol Malo, of Mapleville, Katherine Trudeau, of Woonsocket. 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren
She was also the brother of the late Jeannette Gravel and Wilfred Marcoux.
His funeral will be held on Monday September 23, 2013 at 9 A.M. from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, R.I. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, Mass. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Sunday from 2-6 P.M.
