WOONSOCKET- Roger R. Desrosiers, 73, of Richelieu St. died Monday September 23, 2013 in Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Rudolphe and Rhea (Archambault) Desrosiers.
Roger worked as a Professional Truck Driver, for N&D Transportations for several years prior to retiring.
He was a member of the Teamsters, Club Par X, and the Italian Workingmen's Club.
He was a United States Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by his two children, Paul Desrosiers, of Woonsocket, R.I., and Michelle and her husband Rene Jalette, of Cumberland, R.I. One sister Muriel Desrosiers, of Windslow, ME, Two grandchildren, Emily and Keith Jalette, of Cumberland, R.I.
His funeral will be held on Friday September 27, 2013 at 9 A.M. from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket, R.I. Burial will be at a later date. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Thursday from 5-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Rhode Island Chapter, 205 Hallene Rd. #209, Warwick, R.I. 02886 in his memory would be appreciated.
