NORTH UXBRIDGE- Robert J. Wisniowski, 63, of William Ward St. died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010 in the St. Camillus Health Care Center, Whitinsville.
Mr. Wisniowski was employed for the Stop & Shop in Bellingham for 11 years.
He was born Feb. 3, 1947 in Pawtucket, RI, the son of the late John S. and Eleanor N. (Stankiewicz) Wisniowski. He was a graduate of Uxbridge High School, Class of 1964 and had attended Becker Jr. College in Worcester.
Mr. Wisniowski enjoyed watching and participating in all sports and participating in Monday night bowling leagues in Milford. He also enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by an aunt, Amelia Adamonis of North Attleboro, several cousins including; Barbara Donnelly of Lincoln, RI, Justine Wolferseder of Providence, RI, Richard Stankiewicz of Rocky Mountain, N.C. and John Adamonis of North Attleboro and many friends and acquaintances.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the care and love Robert received at the Dana Farber Cancer Center, Atria Draper Place, The Lydia Taft House and the St. Camillus Heath Care Center.
Funeral services will be held Sat. Nov. 6, 2010 at 11 AM from the Buma Funeral Home, 101 N. Main St. (Rte. 122), Uxbridge followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 12 Noon in St. Marys Church, 71 Mendon St., Uxbridge, 01569.
Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Granite St., Uxbridge.
Visiting hours will be held Fri. Nov. 5, 2010 from 6-8 PM in the funeral home.
