COVENTRY- McLAUGHLIN-DOOLEY, Patricia J. "Patty", 53, of Tillinghast Rd., Greene, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013.
She was the wife of William J. McLaughlin, they had been married for 28 years.
Born in Providence, a daughter of C. Arlene (McKenna) Dooley of Cumberland and the late Frederick E. Dooley.
Mrs. Dooley-McLaughlin was a speech language pathologist at the Bernon Heights Elementary School in Woonsocket for 12 years. She graduated from Ithaca College with a Masters Degree, a former Coventry School Committee member where she served one term and was a former treasurer of the Coventry Democratic Town Committee.
Besides her husband and mother she leaves two children, Danya and Anthony McLaughlin both at home and three siblings, Nancy Dooley in CA, Bobby Abrams, M.D. of Sherborn, MA and Frederick Dooley of Vienna, VA.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 at 8:00 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., (at 1342 Main Street) West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am in SS. John & Paul Church, South Main St., Coventry. Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 pm.
