MENDON, MA- Mr. Benny J. Ferigno, 92, of Mendon MA, died Tuesday (October 1, 2013) at his residence after a period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Helen (Zariczny) Ferigno, who died in 2010.
Mr. Ferigno was born in Milford, the son of the late Salvatore and the late Camella (Manguso) Ferigno. He was a WW II US Navy veteran and a longtime builder of homes.
Mr. Ferigno is survived by his 3 Children: Sandra Lombardi and her husband Frank of Hopedale MA, Barbara Angelico of Middle Haddam CT and Joseph Ferigno and his partner Eric Shottin of Fryeburg ME; 7 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
His funeral, with Military Honors, will be held Monday (October 7th) at 9AM from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (Upper Church), 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Hopedale Village Cemetery in Hopedale MA. Visiting hours will be Sunday (October 6th) from 4pm to 7pm. Please visit www.edwardsmemorialfuneralhome.com for condolence book.
