BELLINGHAM- Robert A. Cadieux, 78, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Woonsocket Health Center with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 59 years of Irene C. (Belanger) Cadieux.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on September 27, 1932, he was the son of the late Alfred and Cora (Thibeault) Cadieux.
He was the loving father of Dennis R. Cadieux of Blackstone, MA and Gail P. Cadieux and her husband, Daniel Rajotte, of Bellingham, MA. He was the brother of Rita Labonne of Davenport, FL, Doris Miles of Woonsocket, RI and the late Theresa Benoit; and his nieces and nephews.
A resident of Bellingham for 60 years formerly of Woonsocket, he owned and operated Basic Seal Coating Inc. of Bellingham since 1994. Also, he was a truck driver for Milford Shoe and AB Pallet of Woonsocket. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. A member of Club Lafayette of Woonsocket and enjoyed playing cards, golfing and was an avid bowler. Devoted to his family, he will be greatly missed.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 11:00AM in CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery.
