FRANKLIN- James S. "Jimmy" Blow, 92, of Ruggles St. died peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on Mon. Oct. 7 after an illness.
He is survived by many family and friends of the "Ruggles Street Gang" and will be sadly missed.
Born in Marathon, FL on April 22, 1921 he was the son of Augusta S. and Agnes (McCann) Blow and grew up working on the farms throughout Wrentham, MA.
He most recently worked as a stock person at Second Impressions store in Wrentham before retiring.
Jimmy had a very quick wit and enjoyed making those around him laugh. He had an affinity for all animals and loved reading about current events and history. He loved his Irish heritage, the 3 Stooges and especially cocktail hour in the evening.
His funeral service will be held on Fri. Oct. 18 at 1 pm in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge, MA 01569. There is no burial. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Fri. Oct. 18 from 11-1 pm. To leave a condolence message for the family, please visit
