FRANKLIN- Debra H. (Taylor) Canard, 59, of Franklin, MA passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Milford Regional Medical Center.
She was the loving mother of Michael D. Canard of Upton, MA, and Shawna M. Ray and her husband, Charles of Franklin, MA, and her cherished grandchildren, Aprill Canard, CJ, Crystal, and Michelle Ray.
Born in Jacksonville, FL on January 11, 1954, she was the daughter of the late David H. and Delores H. (Rose) Taylor. She was the sister of Duane Taylor of Northbridge, MA and the late David Taylor, Jr. She also leaves her aunt, Mary Hutchins of Bellingham, MA, her uncle, Richard Rose and his wife, Margaret of Derry, NH, nieces, nephews and many cousins, and her dear friends, Glen and Gary Jean Frederick of Bellingham. She also leaves her former husband, James M. Canard of Upton, MA.
A resident of Franklin for the past six years, formerly of Milford and Bellingham where Debra was raised and a graduate of Bellingham High School Class of 1972. She loved going to Cape Cod, was a great cook and an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. A devoted mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed.
Visiting hours are on Monday, October 14th from 5 to 7PM at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a funeral service at 7PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Debra H. Canard may be made to the Franklin Food Pantry, 43 West Central St., P.O. Box 116, Franklin, MA 02038 would be appreciated.
