William A. Greco Sr.

William A. Greco Sr. 69, died peacefully with the support of his family on Tuesday October 8 in Woonsocket, RI.
Born and raised in Providence, William remained a Rhode Island resident for the majority of his life. He was one of four children of the late Anthony J. Greco Sr. and Violetta M. (Loranger).
He was the brother of the late Anthony J. Greco Jr. and Adelard L. Greco.
William touched the lives of many people with his passion for music and his talents as an entertainer. He enjoyed popularity in the Rhode Island music scene throughout the late 60's and 70's and enjoyed entertaining audiences throughout the remainder of his career. William also worked for many years as a security officer and a private investigator. Those who met William, throughout his life, were captured by his kind and gentle nature.
William is survived by his two sons, William A. Greco II of Northbridge, MA and Justin A. Greco of Cranston, RI and granddaughter Korra Greco.
He will forever be remembered by his devoted brother Michael R. Greco of Los Angeles and loving family members and friends.
The family will be holding a private military ceremony and burial on Saturday, October 19th at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI. For further information please refer to www.winfieldandsons.com
