WOONSOCKET- Mary (Fostakowski) Janik, 90, of Woonsocket, passed away on Sunday, at the Friendly Home. She was the loving wife of Edmund C. Janik,
Born Oct. 19, 1922, in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Luka & Anna (Pryhoda) Fostakowski.
She resided in Woonsocket all he life. Besides her husband she leaves 2 sons Jeffrey & Robert Janik, a daughter Elizabeth Palazini, 5 grandchildren Sara Glazebrooks, Janae Janik, Toni Janik, Nick & Rachel Palazini. a great grandchild Marley Glazebrooks.also a sister Anna Dobrowolski, a sister in law Alexandra Alexander & several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers John Foster & Frederick Fostakowski and a sister Eudoxia Fostakowski, a grandson Dan Janik & a great granddaughter Annabelle Janik.
Her Funeral will be Friday at 8:30 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home 35 Harris Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Charles Borromeo Church, No. Main St. Woonsocket. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Relatives & Friends are invited. A visitation hour will be Friday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. an hour before the Funeral Mass.
