FLOWER MOUND, TX - Robert C. Buckborough, age 86, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away, Monday, October 14, 2013. He was the beloved husband of the late Josephine Buckborough. Born in Los Angeles, CA on August 19, 1927, he was the son of the late Crawford and Marjorie Buckborough. He resided in Flower Mound, TX for the past 2 years, previously residing in Cumberland, RI.
Robert was employed as an accountant for many years with Guilbane Building Company.
Among his many interests, Robert enjoyed reading and was an avid University of Michigan Wolverine's football and Boston Red Sox fan
Robert is survived by his three children: Regina O'Neill and her husband Donald of Flower Mound, Texas, Angela Platt and her husband Kevin of Pennsylvania, and Robert A. Buckborough and his wife Debbie of Morgan Hill, CA and five grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013 beginning at 10 am from the J.J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rte. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Vianney Parish Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI at 11:15 am. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visitation will be held at J. J. Duffy Funeral Home on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 6pm to 9 pm.
