BELLINGHAM- Yvette E. (Bell) Deziel, 74, of Bellingham, MA passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation in Franklin with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 53 years of Maurice A. Deziel.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on December 10, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and Lena (St. Germain) Bell.
She was the loving mother of Michael Deziel and Matthew Deziel and his wife, Kelli all of Bellingham, MA, Margie Deziel and her boyfriend, David Turnbull of Windham, ME, Patricia Deziel and her boyfriend, Steve Paget of Woonsocket, RI, Barbara Brouillette and her husband, David of Belleville, MI, Debra Dumas of Woonsocket, RI and the late Jacqueline Deziel. She leaves her cherished grandchildren, David Brouillette of Bellville, MI, Zoe Jane Deziel of Bellingham, MA, Nicole Dumas and Marc Sartini of Woonsocket, RI, Alyssa and Matthew Turnbull of Windham, ME. She was the sister of Alfred Bell of Florida and the late Vivian Sartini, Juliette Comtois, and Lucille Pelland.
Formerly of Woonsocket, she was a resident of Bellingham for the past 41 years. Mrs. Deziel owned and operated Yvette’s Day Care for over 20 years in Bellingham where she touched the lives of many parents and children. She cared for her mother who battled Parkinson Disease for many years and was also a foster parent for several children. She loved music and movies. She was a communicant of St. Blaise Church and worked at the parish bingo. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Monday, November 4th at 8:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St., Bellingham. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI. Visiting hours are on Sunday, November 3rd from 1 to 4PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Yvette may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
