WOONSOCKET- Candide "Candy" S. Belisle, 98, formerly of Wyndemere Woods, died Thursday at The Holiday in Lincoln.
Born in Canada, she was a daughter of the late Alberic and Amanda (Tardif) Belisle.
Candy was a dental assistant and office assistant for Drs. Picard for over thirty years.
She is survived by two sisters, Simone Pointon of Fredericksburg, VA, and Therese Gauvin of Woonsocket, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Rhea, Albanie, Robert, Euclid, Camille, Richard, and Lionel Belisle, Laury Berard, and Flore Laferriere.
Her funeral with visitation will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Church Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery. Please visit
