BURRILLVILLE- Lillian M. (Choquette) Cournoyer, 86, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013 in the Overlook Nursing Home, Pascoag. She was the wife of the late Alfred Cournoyer.
Born in Harrisville, she was the daughter of the late Alderic and Bernadette (Vezina) Choquette.
She was a resident of Burrillville, No. Smithfield and Florida.
Lillian worked for the former AT Cross of Lincoln and the former A&P and Big D Supermarkets. She especially enjoyed traveling, shopping and entertaining family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne A. Cournoyer of Harrisville, Richard R. Cournoyer of Denver, CO, a sister Theresa Melo of FL, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Ernest Choquette and Gloria Child.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 at 11AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., Slatersville. Burial will follow in the Parish cemetery. Calling hours will precede the Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to; Overlook Nursing Home Activity Fund, 14 Rock Ave. Pascoag, RI 02859.
