BLACKSTONE- Carol A. (Lehman) Smith, 71, of Blackstone, passed away peacefully on Nov. 5th at her home, with her family at her side. She was the loving wife for over fifty years to Warren Smith.
Born, December 8, 1941 in Concord, MA. she was the daughter of the late George W. & Mabel B. (Hamilton) Lehman,
She resided in Blackstone since 1965, previously resided in Bedford, MA. Carol was a coach for the Blackstone Girls Softball League for many years, under her leadership, she had 7 championship first place teams. She was well known for her 3 small dogs, that she would dress up and take them to area nursing homes for the residents to enjoy.
Besides her husband she leaves a son, David Smith of Uxbridge, Ma. a daughter, Pamela Smith of Summerfield, FL., 3 grandchildren, Tom, Christina & Jonathan 2 great grandchildren, Emma & Christopher. She also leaves 4 brothers & 3 sisters.
Her Funeral & Burial will be private. Donations in her memory can be made to the A.L.S. Association, 315 Norwood Park South, First Floor, Norwood, MA. 02062.
