BURRILLVILLE- Hebert, David C., 49, of Mapleville, passed away November 10, 2013 at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.
He was the loving husband of twenty years to Kimberly (Lapierre) Hebert.
He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Theodore Sr. & Juliette Terry (Desjarlais) Hebert.
He was the Bar Manager at Wright's Farm Restaurant in Nasonville. He also, along with his wife, owned and operated The UPS Store in Slatersville Plaza and Vision Quest, LLC in Mapleville. He previously worked for the Tyco Company, Burrillville Wastewater Treatment Plant and Ocean State Power Company in Harrisville. He was a former assistant football coach for many years in Both Burrillville and Ponaganset. He also was a former wrestling coach in Burrillville. David was president of the Burrillville Grid Iron Club, Member of the Townsmen's Club, he was an original organizer of the Hebert Open Annual Golf Tournament which has raised thousands of dollars for the Autism Project, was a former member of the Oakland-Mapleville Volunteer Fire Department and served as chairman of the 75th year anniversary celebration for Burrillville Football.
He is survived by four brothers, Theodore Teddy of Pascoag, Gene J. Sr. of Oakland, Richard of Mapleville, and Michael L. of Anacortes, WA, his four sisters, Claire Micucci of Harrisville, Laurie Davis of Chepachet, Diane Dufort of Providence and Tammy Beaudreault of Nasonville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Jake.
His funeral will be held Friday at 8:30am from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am in Our Lady of Good Help Church, Mapleville. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Pascoag. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 3pm until 8pm.
