LINCOLN- Bardell, Pauline, "Polly" 93, of Manville, RI, passed away November 12, 2013, at the Holiday Retirement Home in Manville.
She was born on February 21, 1920 in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Dimitri & Frances (Blaskow) Bardell.
Pauline was a bookkeeper for the Woonsocket Call newspaper for forty years. She lived most of her life in Woonsocket, moving to Manville in 2008. She loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed playing golf, and traveling with her friends.
She is survived by a sister, Lillian McGinley of Long Island NY, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Russell and John Bardell, and her sisters, Anastasia Herman, and Catherine Saltonstall.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 4pm in the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Manville. Burial services will be Monday at 9:30am in the Church and conclude at the Parish Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket.
