Kathleen Beauregard, left, visiting from Phoenix, Ariz., enjoys an afternoon of skating Wednesday with her mother, Louise Beauregard, of Woonsocket, and friend Jason Kneip, also of Phoenix, at the outdoor skating rink at River Island Park in Woonsocket. The rink is now open daily from 1 to 9 p.m. Skates are available for rental.
