Donald " Red " Houle
GLENDALE- Donald "Red" Houle , 74, of Waterfront Lane, died Friday March 18, 2011, with his family by his side.
He was the husband of Mary Ann ( Weseluk ) Houle.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Albert and Helen (Frechette) Houle.
He worked for New York Lunch, in the 1960's for several years, and also in construction for Tilcon Gammino, in Cranston, R.I. for 32 years.
He was United States Navy Veteran and also served in the National Guard.
He was a member of the Cumberland Beagle Club, and the United motorcycle and Local 57, Engineers.
He enjoyed his children and grandchildren and especially his family cruises on Spring Lake with a hot cup of coffee and donuts.
Besides his wife Mary Ann, he is survived by five children, Cindy Houle of Glendale, Eric and Marcia Houle, of Glendale, Scott Houle of Pascoag, and David Houle, of Woonsocket, and Michael Houle of Blackstone, three sisters, Annette Lamaire ,and Pauline Bernier, both of Woonsocket, and Vivian Arnold of Cranston. And several nieces, and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday evening at 7 P.M. in the S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited calling hours are Monday from 4-8 P.M.. In lieu of flowers donations to the Woonsocket Dialysis Center, 2100 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, would be appreciated.
